Recently I received a few items from Born Pretty in exchange for review, and I used one of them (this stamping plate) to create this radial gradient with stamping design.
This is my first time trying a radial gradient design, and with my shorter nails I overestimated the size of the circles I’d need. Even so, I really like how this turned out, especially with the round shape of the stamping pattern over top.
Check out the video below to see how I created this design:
I had a little trouble with the stamping plate using a clear stamper (which I purchased from BP), but it worked really well with my favourite marshmallow stamper.
The clear stamper would have helped with the placement over the centre of the gradient, but I managed to do ok with this one in particular 🙂
I think I’ll try this particular gradient again now that my nails have grown back out (yay for procrastination between doing this design and finally posting it…), and hopefully I’ll be able to capture all three of the colours a little better.
Until next time!

A note on promoted items: Not sure how many of these I will be doing. I received three items from the BP store: two stamping plate (including this one) as well as a holographic polish. In exchange for the items I committed to reviewing and posting them on my social media accounts so you’ll see at least two more. I’ll always make it clear that the posts are for items which have been provided for that purpose.
I have also purchased items on my own from Born Pretty multiple times, and do recommend them for people on a budget, as well as if you are looking for a large selection. However, I don’t recommend them if you are hoping to receive your items in the same fiscal quarter in which you ordered them :/
