It’s fat bomb time again. Though I kinda hate that term because of all the negativity around the word “fat.” But maybe this is just one more step in reclaiming the term from meaning bad or unhealthy to meaning awesome and delicious and an essential part of your diet!
Behold! Cinnamon roll fat bombs!
The secret to making these cinnamon roll fat bombs taste like perfect, buttery, brown sugary, cinnamony indulgence? Well, butter, coconut sugar (or brown sugar splenda), and cinnamon. And just a couple other items.
I know coconut sugar has lots of carbs, but it really contributes to the rich molasses flavour of these treats. If it’s still a no-go for you, I encourage you to sub in half a tablespoon of brown sugar splenda. If that’s still a deal-breaker, then go with all powdered or liquid stevia, splenda, etc. You’ll lose some of the cinnamon roll flavour authenticity, but they’ll still be delicious 🙂
As with my salted chocolate fat bombs, you’ll end up with some fun striation in the finished product. Unlike the chocolate version, which has a definite snap to the tooth, these bombs are soft and melt in your mouth (and also your hand if you leave them out too long – these are a straight from the fridge to your mouth kinda treat).
If you’re a cinnamon freak like I am, I highly recommend that you make these today!
